The project’s main objective was to relieve congestion during the "peak hours" from the intersections of Mosside Blvd., Old William Penn Highway and Old Haymaker Road.
W.E.C. Engineers, Inc. completed the following improvements to the intersection:
- Preliminary Design
- Final Design
- Traffic Analysis
- Traffic Signal Design
- Preparations of Construction Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents
- Environmental Assessment for Improvements
The project involved the following:
Widening of Mosside Blvd. from two lanes to four lanes for approximately 1,640 feet
Realignment of the intersection
Adding turning lanes to Mosside Blvd. and Old William Penn Highway
Relocating approximately 380 feet of Old Haymaker Road
Designing a new traffic signal
