W.E.C. Engineers, Inc. was actively involved in the alternative analysis, environment evaluation and preliminary design for the 13 mile section of the new four lane expressway from U.S. Route 22 to I 79.  Our engineering work included:

  • Developing the horizontal and vertical alignments for a four lane expressway through rolling terrain in an environmentally sensitive area

  • Minimizing environmental impacts and balancing earthwork

 

Southern Beltway Project

The project included four interchanges with local roads on three alignment alternatives. It also included four full interchanges with high speed ramps. These ramps also  included options for local road connections
