W.E.C. Engineers, Inc. has developed a customized software application from ArcView and MSPower Point that is ideally suited for news and traffic reporting. W.GIS.TV blends the power of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology with PC-based high quality graphics output suitable for direct on-air use.

The application allows the user to create customized PowerPoint slides from maps and analysis using the ArcView program. The only input needed is an intersection or street address and the desired "zoom factor".

With this input, W.GIS.TV can automatically find the specified location and provided the user with a fully annotated and editable map showing street names, interstate shields, U.S. & state route designations, etc.
