W.E.C., INC. SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

Introduction

Environmental and Societal sustainability falls within three general pillars 1) environmental, 2) social, and 3) economic. Environmental concerns include protecting the environment by complying with or exceeding state law; societal impacts vary from working in a safe environment to ecology awareness programs; and economic concerns include reducing project costs while incorporating the reduction of the carbon footprint and the reduction of sediment flowing from the property into nearby waterbodies.

The benefits of sustainability include material sourcing, consistent format, compliance with law, efficient management, minimization of resource and energy use, increases the possibility of cost savings, and risk management.
